NOT ALL IN TOGETHER
The monotony of proceedings under the Fair Rents Act in the Magistrate's Court today was somewhat enlivened by remarks made by counsel during a lengthy cross-examination of a witness. "Is it not to be expected?" he said, "that where there are eight adults and only one bathroom, that there would be delays in the morning?" "Oh, no," said the witness, "We don't all use the bathroom at the same time." "I hope not!" said another1 counsel.
