MARINE INSURANCE RATES.
Cabled advice has been received locally of the following alterations in the schedule war rates •" (previous rates in parentheses) : Australia north of 25 deg. east coast or 20 deg. west coast, to or from New Zealand and Pacific islands, south of 25 deg. south, 1 per cent. (1% per cent.) ; Australia to Australia, Interstate and intrastate voyages, % per cent. iVs per cent, and Vi per cent.).
