STOP PRESS JAPS STILL ON RUN. Sydney—Allied fighters, operating at record range in the Southwest Pacific theatre, accompanied ■ the greatest force of Liberators yet to-attack the Philippines on Saturday. They struck at the Davao port area, as well as at Lasang, Licanan, and Sasa airfields, and dropped 130 tons of bombs, and escorting fighters strafed the area. Only three Japanese Interceptors were encountered, and all were shot down.
