CHAMPIONSHIP AWARDS

The twenty-fifth annual festival of the Wellington Competitions Society, which ended last night, drew not only record entries, but also record attendances throughout a season extending over a fortnight. The winners of various scholarships, special prizes, and championship classes were announced yesterday, and successful competitors will be handed their awards by his Excellency the Governor-General at a demonstration concert in the Town Hall tonight.
