OBITUARY
MR. W. F. WARREN The death occurred at Auckland yesterday of Mr. Walter Frederick Warren, of Devonport, at the age of 73. Mr. Warren was born and educated in Wellington, and as a young man represented Wellington and New Zealand at cricket. He was a war-rant-officer in the New Zealand Defence Force, Permanent Staff, and for nearly 25 years he was stationed at North Head, Auckland. He retired 20 years ago. A keen golfer, Mr. Warren was a foundation member of the Waitemata Golf Club. He was also a member of the Devonport Bowling Club. Mr. Warren was a brother-in-law of the late Sir George Richardson. He is survived by his wife and a son.
