MEETINGS AT MINES
WORKING TIME LOST O.C. AUCKLAND, This Day. Two stopwork meetings occurred at the Glen Afton Collieries yesterday. At the Macdonald mine the meeting lasted an hour and a hall, after which the men went into the mine, but at Glen Afton the meeting lasted until 10.40 a.m.. when a few men went tq work but the majority returned, to their homes. It is not known by the company what the stopwork meetiint!s were about.
