The Hutt Valley Coal Dealers' Committee suggested to the Lower Hutt City Council, last evening, that a member of the council should be appointed to the committee to watch the interests of the public generally and to help to obtain more coal for household use in the city. The council appointed Councillor E. F. Rothwell.
