MELBOURNE, July 27. Communism had developed at Melbourne University beyond the stage where it could be regarded as a joke, declared the Minister of Public Instruction, Mr. T. T. Hollway. Comj muriism, he said, had become a serious factor in Australian- life. A dispute over Communism at the university has arisen over the. refusal to allow a member of the Communist Party to put the, "yes" case on the referendum to a meeting of students.;More than 300 students have pro« i tested against Mr. Hollway's statements.
