PETROL LICENCES
EXTENSION OF REVIEW
"Is the review of all petrol licences being made at the behest of Washington and London?" asked Mr. T. C. Webb (National, Kaipara) in a notice of question to the Minister of Supply in the House of Representatives yesterday. Mi-. Webb said that, according to a report in the "Melbourne Herald" of July 10, the Minister of Transport (Mr. O'Brien) had made a statement to that effect. Mr. Webb asked whether the Government proposed, as stated by Mr. O'Brien, to extend " the review of licences to ambulances and cars used by doctors, farmers (who were now limited to one visit to the nearest centre each week), invalids and old people, taxis, and service-cars. .
