FIRE BOATS FOR EUROPE
Rec. 11 a.m. RUGBY, July 12. Arrangements have been completed for the overseas flotillas of the National Fire Service fire boats to be on call for fire-fighting in continental ports and harbours in support of the Army fire and service boats.
This new N.F.S. contribution to the offensive is in addition to the N.F.S. overseas contingent now ready for immediate embarkation for land fire fighting on the Continent. Each flotilla will be accompanied by a parent>ship. The fire boats will be manned by selected volunteers.—B.O.W.
