CROSS-CHANNEL SHELLING
RUGBY, June 24.
For nearly two hours today the enemy's long-range guns between Boulogne and Calais fired over the Straits of Dovpr, says a correspondent. About 25 shells were fired. Towns in the Dover area had shell-fire warnings lasting 25 hours.—B.O.W.
