The usual warning to youths against smoking because it stunted growth is not treated seriously by the Australian Minister of Trade and Customs, Senator R. V. Keane, who has arrived in New Zealand. As a youth he received the warning from a doctor, but since then he estimates that he has smoked half a ton of tobacco. He now weighs 21 stone and is 6ft in height
