CROP FERTILISER
AN INCREASED SUPPLY
In a statement when interviewed today regarding production, the Minister of Agriculture (Mr. Roberts) stated that joint representations by the New Zealand and Australian Governments had been successful to the extent that a definite assurance could be given to farmers that additional supplies of fertiliser would be available during the coming season. The amount of fertiliser for turnips or swedes sown on the flat would be li cwt an acre, and 2Acwt for ridged crops.
