A net profit of £573.969 shown by the Colonial Sugar Refining Company for the year ended March 31 Is a decrease of £167,632 on the previous year, and is the lowest since 1932-33. Keserves are called upon to meet the dividend charge at the steady rate of B^4 per cent. The dividend amount of £994,500 is £120,531 more than the profit, and tha carry-forward is reduced by this sum to £345,908. The sales of refined products in Australia and New Zealand again totalled mors than 500,000 tons.
