MILK POWDER FOR GREECE

Some considerable time ago Greeks resident in New Zealand subscribed funds for the dispatch of necessaries to their home country. Many difficulties had to be overcome to arrange transport, but word has been received by the Consul-General for Greece, Mr. T. E. Y. Seddon, from the High Commissioner for New Zealand, Mr. W. J. Jordan, that transport has been arranged for a further consignment of the goods sent from New. Zealand to London.

Mr. Jordan's cable to Mr. Seddon is as follows: —"With reference to my cablegram of December 13 making inquiries through the Department of External Affairs regarding shipment of a further 17 cases of milk powder to Greece, I am pleased to be able to inform you that permission to ship this further consignment via Canada has been obtained, and the milk powder left this country recently."
