EXCELLENT BOMBING
DAMAGE TO F.W. PLANTS
Rec. 11 a.m. RUGBY, May 30. Immense damage done yesterday to the production of the FockeWulf 390. is described by United States headquarters, which states that excellent bombing of the large Focke-Wulf 190 components plant at Kreising. in Poland, is shown in photographs taken during and after Monday's attack by heavy bombers. The entire factory area
was covered by a close concentration oi: bombs, with many direct hits .on workshops and sub-assembly buildings. The Focke-Wulf asembly plants at Kottbus and Sorau, in Germany, were hit with good results. Further dajnage was done to four major buildings at the Heiterblick Messerschmitt 109 components plant near Leipzig. At Mockau, near Leipzig, concentrations fell on a Junkers 88 assembly plant, a repair depot, and a Messerschmitt 109 assembly plant. There were large fires and explosions at a synthetic oil refinery at Politz. Two workshops in a railroad yard at Posen were hit, andl there were large explosions end first in the snoods depot—B.O.V
