LEND-LEASE TANKS

Rec. 1 p.m. NEW YORK, May 30. Private dispatches from Ecuador say that American lend-lease tanks played a key part in revolutionary fighting at Guayaquil which resulted in the Ecuadorean Government being overthrown. Unofficial reports indicate that over 50 were killed and that many of the 200 injured have since died. Quito radio announced that Velasco Ibarra, who was exiled by the former Government, crossed the frontier *of Ecuador from Colombia this morning.
