PRICE CONSIDERED CRUX P.A. TIMARU, This Day ( Keen discussion on the best means of increasing wheat production took place at the South Island conferenca of Farmers' Union executives. The following motion was carried: "The conference sub-committee con« siders that the only way of increasing wheat production for the Dominion's needs is by asking for a substantial increase in the price to 7s 3d a bushel."
