The following were elected to the South Wellington School Committee: Messrs. M. Castle (chairman), W. Clayton (secretary), F. Quinn (treasurer), E. J. Elton, E. Graham, C. J. Cutler, E. Knight, J. Nicholson, and W. Jupp. The condition of Richard Townsend Chorley, the soldier admitted to the Wellington Hospital on May 4 with a .22 bullet wound in the abdomen, is still serious. His wounding was thesubject of a charge against a woman in the Magistrate's Court last Tuesday.
