WATERSIDER'S DEATH
P.A. CHRISTCHURCH, April 12. While working in the hold of a ship at Lyttelton this evening, Alfred Heald, waterside worker, Gamblin's Road, Opawa, was struck on the head by two sacks of grain and killed; Dr. C. H. Upham, who was called, said death was instantaneous.
