MAN-POWER PROSECUTIONS
For failing to obey the direction of a Man-power Officer, Francis Eric Hodgins was fined £5 by Mr. W. C. Hai'ley, S.M., at Lower Hutt yesterday. The defendant had left employment to which he had been directed; and had not returned until proceedings had been instituted. i
John Alexander Thomson, in similar circumstances, was fined £3 for leaving his employment without permission, and was also convicted and discharged for failing to notify the Man-power Office of his change of address.
