LEAD BY DEWEY
WISCONSIN PRIMARIES \ Rec. 2 p.m. WASHINGTON, Apr. 5. On the basis of the latest primary returns, Mr. Dewey has won 18 of the total of 24 Wisconsin delegates to the Republican national ' convention, General Me Arthur and Mr. Stassen three each, and Mr. Willkie none. Mr. Willkie's defeat is regarded in political circles as a serious but not necessarily fatal blow to his chances of nomination for President. On the other hand, Mr. Dewey's stock has boomed.
