TURKEY AND WAR

READY TO ENTER, IF—

LONDON, February 12

The Ankara correspondent of the British United Press, quoting an interview with Mr. Saracoglu. says that the Turkish Premier indicated that Turkey -was not only willing, but had actually given a definite undertaking to enter the war on the Allies' side if and when war materials for which she asked were delivered.

Mr.- Saracoglu's statement emphasised that Turkey's part in the war, if she enters it, must be completely Turkish, and not merely to provide Turkish infantry as an auxiliary to Allied technical experts.
