CAUCUS DECISIONS
DATE OF PARLIAMENT The Leader of the Opposition (Mr. Holland) said last night that the caucus of the Parliamentary members of the National Party had decided that the view of the Opposition that there should be an early session of Parliament in view of the important questions, particularly in regard to manpower and the Dominion's commitments, would be represented to the Government strongly and without delay. The prospect of the House not being called together before the end of February was unacceptable to caucus. Another decision of the caucus was to continue to press the Government to carry out its promise to implement the National Party's proposal for the setting up of a Royal Commission to inquire into the conduct of the liquor
