GOOD SHOOTING
SHIP SUNK OFF GRIS-NEZ
Kec. 1,10 p.m. RUGBY, Jan. 20. Hearty congratulations on the good shooting of the Dover guns-were sent by the Prime Minister today to the commander of the coast artillery of the east Kent district. The message followed the sinking last night by coastal gunfire of a large enemy vessel near Cap Gris-Nez. The sinking was confirmed by R.A.F. Typhoons, one of whose pilots also found a smaller ship two miles offshore west SSf Calais lying with a marked list and smoke pouring from the waterline. — 8.0. W. --
