INCAPACITATED FOR MONTHS Rec. 12.40 p.m. WASHINGTON, Jan. 20. The United States Secretary of War, Mr. Stimson, said that the most recent reports about the Eighth Air Force attack on Germany on January 11, indicated greater victory than was at first announced. The Focke-Wulf plant as Oschersleben and the Messerschmittplant at Brunswick were almost totally demolished, and the Junkers factory at Halberstadt was damaged 40 to 70 per cent., thereby wiping out the production of all these factories for months.
