She served in London during the blitz and later as a W.A.A.F. in the Middle East, and was formerly married to Captain I. R. H. Black, R.N., but the marriage tuas . recently dissolved. Sir Arthur Tedder s first ivifc ivas killed last January in an air crash in North Africa.
