THE SALVATION ARMY
At a meeting conducted by Commissioner J. Evan. Smith in the Salvation Army Citadel, Vivian Street, Wellington, yesterday afternoon, a hearty welcome was given Colonel and Mrs. Charles Walls and Lieut.-Colonel and
Mrs. R. Rignold on their arrival from Australia. Colonel Walls has returned to New Zealand from Melbourne and is the new Chief Secretary of the Salvation Army in New Zealand. The new Field Secretary, Lieut-Colonel Rignold, comes from Sydney. The Commissioner, Major E. Lord, and Brigadier A. Suter congratulated the officers on their appointments and wished them, success in their respective positions. Colonel Walls and. Lieut-Colonel Rignold suitably responded. mmmmmmmm _ mmmmmmmmmmmm^mm
