WIRE STOLEN FROM SHIP
The theft of a coil of seizing wire from a ship on which he was working as a carpenter for the Union Steam Ship Company, Ltd., was admitted in the Magistrate's Court today by Sydney John Hodge, carpenter, and he was fined £10 by Mr. W. C. Harley, S.M. The wire was valued at 30s. Mr. A. B. Sievwright said it was the accused's first appearance before the Court, and he took the partly-used wire for use as a clothes line. It was not part of a cargo. _
