STATE MINE IDLE
P.A. ~ GREYMOUTH, This Day. The Wallsend State mine is idle. The miners will not resume work before Monday, insufficient men • attending ; today. The normal production is 250 tons daily. About 160 men are employed in the mine. All other State mines in the district are working with about half the normal number of employees.
