Norman Charles Williams, labourer, 58, was sentenced to fourteen days' hard labour by Mr. J. L. Stout, S.M., today for stealing £1 from a serviceman for whom he had undertaken to buy wine. For breach of probation, he was sentenced to one month's hard labour, the terms to be cumulative.
