CUSTOMS REVENUE
Net Customs revenue collected at Wellington during November totalled £245,284, an increase of £50,713 on the figures for ■ November last year. For the eleven months ended November this year the net Customs revenue was £241,391 higher, at £2,550,736. Compared with the same month last year, sales tax collections for November were £5150 higher at £97,658, but the eleven months' figures, £1,044,----110, were down- bjo>£ 16,959. There was an increase in the beer excise duties for the month if £4775, the total being £19,123. For the eleven months this year the total was £176,319, which was £40,294 higher than the corresponding period last year. "•'... War tax under its various headings produced £377,504 for last month and £4,120,510 for the eleven months, compared with £344,427 and £2,845,793, the respective increases being £33,077 and £1,274,717.
