MOST HEARTENING
HELP FOR W.N.R. NURSERY
Hearty thanks were expressed at the recent meeting of the W.N.R. Residential Nursery centre for monetary gifts for October from the branches as follows: — Khandallah-Ngaio, £5; Wadestown, £20 10s; Lyall Bay, £43; Lower Hutt, £24 6s 2d; Kelburn, £4
ss. Mrs. Porter stated that the, annual meetings so far had been very heartening, proving the zeal and enthusiasm of the officers, members, and supporters. Though all these people were cooperating in various activities, the residential nursery_ had not suffered, but rather had enjoyed a wonderful increase of help. Much appreciation" was expressed for goods in kind from Mr. Davis (Seatoun), Mrs. Cross, Mr. Irvine, Miss Manning (Tauranga), the Junior Red Cross (Mount Cook), and Mrs. Elliott.
