N.Z. GIRL TO BROADCAST
' (Special P.A. Correspondent.) Rec. 9.30 a.m. LONDON, Nov. 3. Miss Nancy Northcroft, of Christchurch, who is an architect studying housing in the United Kingdom on a British Council scholarship, will broadcast in the "Calling New Zealand" programme in the 8.8.C. Pacific shortwave transmission at 6.45 p.m. (New Zealand time) on November 5. Miss Northcroft will discuss how New Zealand could apply the pattern of the village to its town-planning schemes.
Girls to Help Entertain. The Toe H Servicemen's Club requires a few additional girls to help entertain servicemen on Friday and Sunday evenings. Those who are interested are requested to apply in person to the lady secretary at Toe H clubrooms, 216 Lambton Qy., on Fridays after 7 30 p.Tn. '
