SWEDEN RETALIATES
IRON FOR GERMANY HELD UP
LONDON, October 30.
Sweden is answering Germany's withdrawal of safe conduct for Skaggerak shipping with an embarrassing tightening of trade exchanges, says the Stockholm cori-espondent of the British United Press.
Germany has a deficit -in coal supplies to Sweden. Sweden is replying by showing reluctance with iron for Germany; Several million tons of iron are involved. The Germans' concern is shown by their sending of Karl Schurre, ■:., a leading economist, to Stockholm.
