Government House, Wellington, October 13. His Excellency the GovernorGeneral, attended by Major C. J. Hol-land-Martin, was present at a tattoo of jtho Tin Hat Club this evening.
Councillors W. J. Gaudin and Knox Gilmer and the City Librarian (Mr. J. Norrie) will attend the New Zealand Library Association conference at Wanganui in February next. Mr. H. F. O'Leary, K.C., acting-chair-man of the War Pensions Appeal Board, returned to Wellington from Auckland yesterday.
