MR. CHURCHILL'S HOPE
PRIME MINISTER'S MEETING
LONDON, September 22.
The Prime Minister announced in the House of Commons that an important and immediate objective of the British Government is to arrange a meeting of all the Empire Prime Ministers. He said he had been trying for the past two years to arrange such a meeting, but he understood that it was more likely to be possible just now than an Imperial conference. There were great difficulties, but he hoped such a meeting ■ might take place early next year.
