BRITISH SOLDIER
GERMANS' APPRAISAL
Rec. 9 a.m. NEW YORK, Sept. 21. German prisoners of war who are now in the United States, many of whom served in France, Russia, and North Africa, said that the British are the best fighters they have met. the Russians being placed second, and the Americans third, says the "New York Sun." The paper says in an editorial:"Though this appraisal may wound our national pride slightly, it seems reasonable when the relative experience of the soldiers who have faced the Nazis is considered."
