OBITUARY
MR. JAMES E. WALLACE
APIA, September 19.
The death has occurred of Mr. James E. Wallace, aged 78. He arrived in Samoa in 1915 with" the relief force and served till the termination of the Great War, attaining the rank of lieutenant He returned to New Zealand in 1920 when he was demobilised, and came back six months later. He has resided here continuously since then. He was very highly respected in the community. He was well known in Wellington and Kimbolton districts. . He was amongst the first pupils to attend Wellington College. He. leaves a widow, but no children.
