Heavy fighting continues for Ogulin. The great battle for Split has now been waged for eight days. Large and strong fortifications have been erected for the protection of this important coastal port. Two thousand Germans so far have been killed in the fighting for Split. The Germans have brought up planes and guns, but have gained no ground
