AIRMAN MISSING
News has been, received that Pilot Officer Charles G. Baker has .been reported .as missing on air operations. He left New Zealand $n;July, 1941, and
gained his wings in Canada. A letter from his commanding officer described him as a most efficient and courageous pilot. A son of Mrs. A. G. Coyle, Brooklyn, Pilot Officer Baker received his education at the Clyde Quay School and at the Wellington Technical College, gaining a senior'free place. He joined the firm of R. Hannah and Co., and for eight years was on the clerical staff in the warehouse.
