AIR RAIDS IN BURMA
Rec. 11 a.m. RUGBY. Sept. 19. An India communique states that R.A.F. Beauflghters maintained attacks on communications and installations in Burma. Among the targets in the Prome. area were two locomotives, .five lorries, 20 sampans, and a barracks on the railway from Prome to Petpadan.
Hurricanes were active on Mayu Peninsula, attacks being made on enemy-occupied villages. One aircraft is missing.—8.0. W.
