FROM this week on the electors of Hutt will have the opportunity of meeting and getting" to know Mrs. John Hogan, who will be accompanying and assisting her husband for the final part of his campaign. Mrs. Hogan would have made an. earlier public appearance, but could not leave their two ■ young children for so long. She Is also actively Interested in public affairs and social problems, and Is an attractive' speaker. ' Before marriage, she was a teacher, and has since been active in creche and kindergarten work, for which there is a great need in the Hutt Valley. She has been a prominent member of the National Council of Women in Auckland, and one of a special committee of three appointed to go into the problems of returned servicemen. It will be no little advantage to the women of Hutt to have as their Member's wife a young mother knowing the problems of mothers today, experienced in committee work and qualified to assist in dealing with social problems.
