D.F.C. WINNER WEDS
St." Patrick's Cathedral, Auckland, was the scene of the wedding on Saturday afternoon of Miss Ethel Leah Macmillan, eldest daughter of Mrs. R. Macmillan and the late Mr. C. Macmillan, 103 Meadowbank Road, Remuera, to Pilot Officer Colin Sydney Marceau, D.F.C., R.N.Z.A.F., only son of Mr. and Mrs. L. Marceau. 60 Disraeli Street, Mount Eden. The Rev. Father Curran officiated.
The bride was given away by her uncle, Mr. J., Lanigan, and her sister, Mrs. D. Campbell, was matron of honour. The best man was Pilot Officer A. Miller, R.N.Z.A.F.
The reception after the ceremony was held at the home of the bride's aunt, Mrs. J. Lanigan, Okahu Road, Orakei.
