LABOUR HAS TAKEN YOUR PERSONAL FREEDOM
A NATIONAL GOVERNMENT WILL RESTORE IT. We are fighting for freedom—let's have some of it. Let us remove the Government which dictates to you on everything you do. You can't work without compulsory unionism—and so you create jobs for union secretaries, who, in regal splendour, tour the country at your expense. You should run your unions, but they run you. And what about laws which make you register if you own 25 fowls? What about laws which stop a man from selling eggs, honey, or fruit that have not paid tribute to the Internal Marketing Division? What about restriction of your rights to appeal from Ministerial decisions? Are you a free citizen, or are you just a bird in the Fraser Government's Gilded Cage? Surely you see that the time has come to demand a government which will be government for the people, by the people. Resolve now to vote National on September 25, and so elect a Government pledged to restore freedom from State interference and bureaucratic tyranny. — Advt.
