FINE OF £100
P.A. CHRISTCHURCH, This Day. Geoffrey William Snook pleaded guilty in the Magistrate's Court this morning to using premises as a common gaming-house, and was fined £100, in default three months' imprisonment. Snook was described by the police' as "one of the big shots" with two previous convictions.
Mr. F. P. Kneeshaw, chairman of the Australian Shipbuilding Board, has arrived in Wellington.
