POSSIBLE NAZI MOVE
DUCE AS PUPPET LEADER
Rec. 1.30 p.m. LONDON, Sept. 12. The British United Press, commenting on the- German claim to have •liberated Mussolini, . says:—-"Hitler may how be expected to form a puppet Fascist Government headed by Mussolini, designed to attract as much Italian support as possible, backed up by German guns and bayonets. It will' be easy for Mussolini to claim he was unconstitutionally put out of the way, that the Badoglio Government has no standing, and- that Kin^ Victor ; Emmanuel is a virtual captive. There may be an attempt on Mussolini's part, to establish a new Italian, army-to fight on the side of the Germans, who have already claimed that some Italian units have come to them." ■ ;
