Sir, —On the vexed question of the t)ixon Street flats, the Government has departed from one plank of its ideology at any rate. It has provided a good example and incentive to young married people to view children as encumbrances. It is a Staggering blow to good society that has been working over many years to' stop national suicide by birth control.—l am, etc.*
