LONDON, Sept. 10,
Major-General Adrian Carton de Wiart, V.C, has arrived in London from Italy, where he was taken pri? soner after a plane in which he was flying to. Cairo wag forced down in the Mediterranean in April, 1,941. •
American Spitfires escorted an aeroplane with Italian markings which landed at a British, aerodrome yesterday. Earlier it was reported from Lisbon that Signor Galeazzi, Governor of the Vatican City, was flying to Britain.
