PUBLIC NOTICES. WILL APPLETON, NATIONAL CANDIDATE FOR WELLINGTON CENTRAL, SAYS: MR. A. P. POSTLEWAITE, President, Auck- , land Returned Services' Association, stated recently: "A number of reports have been received concerning the inability of servicemen to enter various Industries operated under licence —Carrying, • glove manufacturing, and flshins are among the industries affected. Various Acts and Regulations, including the Industrial Efficiency Act, are interfering with the successful operation of the Rehabilitation Act. It has been reported to me that a returned man who had intended to commence business as a chemist In an area where the public demand .was sufficient to justify this course, and where there was no other chemist, was denied the opportunity, owing to the provisions of the Industrial Efficiency Act." Some men, said Mr. Postlewaite, had sold their businesses and now could not return to them. In some industries for which returned men had vainly sought licences refugees were operating. That is the "freedom" which lies ahead for New Zealanders if the Labour Government is toot removed from office. The National Party will attack red tape and bureaucracy, so that our people, including returned men, will have freedom of opportunity and full outlet for their enterprise and Initiative. Vote NATIONAL this time and for WILL APPLETON, Who stands for "A Square Deal" for ALL the people. SALE OF RABBITSKINS. ~~ EMERGENCY REGULATIONS, 1942. RABBITSKINS SUBSIDY.
